Homies' Why

I started Homies out of a passion for dogs and a desire to help those in need. Dogs have always held a special place in my heart. I got my first dog when I was just six years old. She was the sweetest little thing and felt like a sister to me as we grew up together. Ever since, I’ve known that I wanted to be surrounded by dogs.

The idea behind the Homies Doggybag is to make it as easy as possible for people to take their dogs on daily commutes & adventures. But I’m also aware of the suffering many dogs face, especially those in shelters (without the required resources). Which led me to want to do something about it. That’s why, for every bag sold, we donate a meal to a shelter dog.

And this is just the beginning. I have big plans for Homies, and I’m excited to see where this journey will take us.

Homies' mission

To create sustainable, qualitative products for dogs that are comfortable for both humans & dogs and look fabulous. While we do that, we help shelter dogs in need by donating one meal per bag sold. Starting out by donating to a shelter in Bangladesh, next to our female owned partner factory. But hopefully, soon, we will be able to help out other shelter locations as well.

 

Homies' belief

We are convinced that a life well lived includes the companionship of a dog. That is why, we make it as easy and fun as possible to bring dogs along. We want you to take them on road trips and to visit your friends. Because dogs are family, and your life is better when experienced together.
