Frequently asked questions

What is your return policy?

You can return unused items within 14 days and we refund the amount. The product has to be in its original packaging (the black Homies bag) and in new condition. Please order consciously: we are an independent brand and handle everything ourselves. Measure your dog before you order. Want to exchange? Email info@homiesdogwear.com and we will sort it out.

Can my dog jump out, is the backpack safe?

Yes, used correctly the backpack is safe.

  • The top closes with two adjustable buckles and press studs.
  • Inside sits a safety leash that you clip to your dog's harness, so it cannot jump or fall out. Do not attach it to a collar.

Our design has been reviewed by vets, also for long-backed breeds like the dachshund. The backpack is meant for getting from A to B, not for long periods. Give your dog regular breaks to stretch, drink and pee.

Check the clip and buckles before every use. Support your dog when lifting it in and out.

What is your shipping policy?

Homies currently ships within Europe (excluding the UK). We dispatch within 1 to 2 business days from the Netherlands, so depending on where you are your order can take 1 to 2 weeks to arrive.

What is the dog carrier made of?

The Homies dog carrier is made of sturdy, durable materials that are comfortable and safe for your dog. To be precise: 50% nylon and 50% recycled nylon.
