Homies' why

I started Homies out of a passion for dogs. My mom got us our first dog when I was six years old (after begging for months about it), and she became my 'little sister'.

The idea behind the Homies dog carrier is to make it as safe and easy as possible to take your dog along on daily commutes and adventures. Because life is so much better when you bring them along.

Homies' mission

We're on a mission to create high-quality products that are comfortable for both humans and dogs and look fabulous. While we do that, we help shelter dogs by donating one meal per bag sold, starting with DOA (the animal shelter in Amsterdam) and hopefully soon other shelters as well.

A life well lived includes the companionship of a furry friend

That is why we make it as easy and fun as possible to bring your dog along: on road trips, to visit friends, everywhere. Dogs are family, and life is better experienced together.

No more open bycicle baskets

It started with a practical problem. Founder Laurha cycled through the city with her dog every day, and the basket that she used kept feeling unsafe. One day her dog fell out of it and she thought: there should be another way. The dog carrier that grew out of that was developed together with vets, fits small dogs up to long-backed breeds, and tested up to 20 kg.
